After dealing with a burst pipe in the apartment above their New England pub, Elizabeth and Mary Margaret Montgomery head to their family beach cottage on Phaner Island for a weekend of relaxing. The island should be quiet given it’s November and the only year-round resident is the caretaker of the Markham Estate – the largest home on the island. They barely managed to outrun a blustery Nor’easter storm that floods the causeway leaving them stranded on the island. That wouldn’t be so bad, except they get more than they bargained for when they arrive at their cottage. And their relaxing getaway turns into a search for true identities and maybe even a murderer.
